It's always a dream that I can swim with Dolphin.. or rather, have a close look at them. The first time I saw dolphins in real was in Tioman when we were learning to dive. There were few dolphins swam towards us (the boat).All on board were so excited..
When I read from tripadvisory that swimming with dolphins is possible in Mauritius, without second thought, I went to booked a trip.. hahaha...
We found some recommendations online, and contacted 1 of the person to arrange. At the end, we didn't go to that person and found another one from Sam. (Our 1 day tour guide in another blog). We bought the package which include BBQ lunch and swim with dolphin. There are cheaper package which only include boat ride to see dolphin.
The meeting point at Tamarin bay, so we walked through the "forest" to save the cost of transport which is rather expensive.
So we board the speedboat excitedly to see the dolphin... Can you spot them here??
There were alot of boats gather there to see dolphins.. All of them seems to help each other to spot those dolphins.. Once they saw, they will point to each other...
There were normally 2 persons onboard, 1 will drive the boat and another one will accompany you to go into water to "chase" and "swim" with dolphins.. Those who wants to go into water have to get ready on fins and goggles and waited at the edge of the boat. (Get ready to jump).
I decided to chase as well while my hubby was afraid of the cold. (Winter is really cold if you dipped into water). I jumped few times into water, but didnt manage to see those dolphins.. When I'm about to give up... The dolphins swam around us... wow wow... My guard pulled me to chase them. And YES!!!! I saw them swim very near me... and I continued to swim in the same direction as them... hahahaha.... That moment of satisfaction was amazing.... I'm glad i did it..

As those dolphins are wild dolphins, we are not encourage to get too near them. So please be extra careful if you would like to do this activities...
We met very friendly and interesting family who were on the same boat as us. They are family from South Africa. We chatted and laughed together throughout the whole trip. The feeling is good when u met new people that we can chat and share jokes. I think this trip will be different if we met boring people.
After dolphin trip, we continued with some island hopping and BBQ lunch at 1 of the island. Did I mention their BBQ chicken is nice??? We always have more than 1 serv
ing of BBQ chicken coz it's really nice..
After lunch, we continued on some snorkeling before ending our trip. The snorkeling area are so nice with those turquoise colour sea water...
